M.M. London Gazette 24 January 1919.

William McKenzie Mitchelson from Parkshaw enlisted in the Gordon Highlanders as a Private, entering France on 6 July 1915. He later transferred to the Scottish Rifles as a Lance Sergeant before being transferred to the newly formed 10th Battalion King's Own Scottish Borderers; sold together with copied research.
