Michael Morton Gibson was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant on 24 March 1955 with the service number 443448. The Regiment was involved in the Malayan Intervention from its beginning with Gibson promoted Lieutenant during the fighting on 24 March 1957. Advanced Captain on 24 March 1961 he was still with the unit when they were deployed in the Borneo Confrontation in 1962 and was with them during Operation Claret.
During the war Rambahadur Limbu was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery at the Battle of Bau in November 1965, Gibson retired from service the following month on 12 December 1965; sold together with copied research.
