Harry Adams was born at Hardingstone, Northampton in 1859 and attested there on 5 November 1880. Posted to the 1st Battalion he was with them when they arrived at Suakin on 19 February 1885. Here the British under General Grenfell prevented the investment of Suakin by Osman Digna. Returning to Britain in September he was sent to the Army Reserve the next year, finally being discharged on 3 November 1892; sold together with copied research.
