(x) General Service 1962-2007, 2 clasps, Borneo, Malay Peninsula (52350 S. W. Davies), private rod between clasps, sometime lacquered, good very fine

S. W. Davies served with the 7th Royal Australian Regiment as a Lance Corporal. Many of the 7th RAR were transferred from 3rd RAR and this appears to be the case for Davies as his Index Card initially lists 3rd RAR only to be crossed out and replaced with 7th RAR. The same card confirms his entitlement to both clasps and adds the note 'Sarawak 2 Jun 65'. Davies lived at 14 Green Avenue, Tuart Hill, Perth, Western Australia; sold together with a copied Medal Register Book extract.
