Thomas Lunn Paterson was born at Wilton, Roxburgh, Scotland on 23 June 1891. He first entered the war in France on 3 December 1914 and was awarded his Military Medal in May 1919 whilst serving with the 1st Battalion. He was tranferred to Class 'Z' on 14 February 1919 and is entitled to a 1914-15 Star Trio.
