Abyssinia 1867-68 (W. J. Pemberry Stoker H.M.S Vigilant), lightly polished, otherwise very fine

William James Pembery was born on 12 March 1842 at Woolwich, Kent. He enlisted into the Royal Navy on 5 February 1863 for a period of ten years service and is confirmed on the roll for the Abyssinia medal, but this has his name as Pemberry.
