1915 Autograph letter signed "Albert", written on Buckingham Palace notepaper on his 14th birthday, to his French tutor Monsieur Lassimone, thanking him in French for a book on "Ships of all Nations" and referring to "stomach...problems" that bothered him for many years. With the original postally used Official Paid envelope initialled "A" and the cypher stamp of King George V.
