1872 Cheque signed "Ch. Darwin", the noted naturalist, geologist and biologist, payable to his son "G.H.Darwin" (1845-1912), drawn on the Union Bank of London for One Hundred Pounds in the year that George Darwin was admitted to the bar. The cheque is completed in the hand of Charles Darwin and endorsed on the reverse by G. H. Darwin. A rare financial item relating to the Darwin Family for a considerable amount in those days (18x8cm)
