Family Album
1760-1904 The Family album of Thomas Wingfield and Mary Ann Ibbetson containing numerous watercolours, family history, correspondence and ephemera housed within envelopes laid down in the album, suitably annotated. Two letters from Quebec with Crown in Circle "Paid at Quebec" datestamps (1843), 1850 broadside to "The Householders of the Ward of Bishopsgate / Cardinal Wiseman" regarding the "Popish Archbishop of Westminster", 1850 leaflet on the Great Exhibition of Works of Industry", John Tracey's certificate as a Member of the Society of Arts (1855), Visit of Queen Victoria to Epping Forest, 1888 (Firework Display advert), sundry family photographs, engravings. Wooden decorative boards, front detached, with round wax (?) profiles displayed within protective glass. An intriguing album worthy of further research (26x38x7cm)
