1688 Printed broadside issued in the name of the King, "At the Court at Whitehall" meeting in his presence with 15 named Councillors, stating that "no Form or Order of Common Prayer be openly used, other than what is Prescribed and Appointed to be used in and by the said Book". The King expressly declares the names of those members of the Royal Family "to be Prayed for", including Her Royal Highness Mary Princess of Orange, who was to ascend the throne with her husband, Prince William of Orange, in 1689, after the Glorious Revolution deposed James II (29.5x36.5cm)
