NGC MS64 | Netherlands, 25th Anniversary of the Peace of Utrecht, AR Medal, 1738, by M. Holtzhey, FACDEVS AETER NAM PACEM, Hollandia seated between Peace and Liberty upon a stockade with shields of the seven provinces below, radiant sky above, MDCCXXXVIII, in exergue, rev. ten line inscription, 61mm, 76.98g (van Loon 126; KPK 2573; Pax 615; Laugwitz 498), some very minor surface friction to reverse, vibrantly toned in hues of ochre to blue atop glossy-brilliant fields, obverse of a most intricate and high-relief design, much as struck, in NGC holder, graded MS64 (Cert. #8222378-011)
