Expected Arrival of Prince Charles Edward, AR Medal, 1745, [probably struck 1748], by [C. N. Roettier?], CAROLUS WALLIAE PRINCEPS, bust right, rev. AMOR ET SPES, Britannia standing left, ships behind, BRITANNIA in exergue, 43mm, 29.05g (Eimer 595A; MI ii, 600/251), contact marked to obverse, and a trace of doubling to reverse legend, nonetheless with a pleasing cabinet tone upon glossy surfaces, more so to reverse, good very fine / extremely fine, scarcely encountered, even more so in silver
