A collection in album which includes to Electric Telegraph 1854 1/6d., 2/- and 4/- without control numbers (some faults), some later issues with 1864 4/- black remainder, some used including 1861 1/- and 1864 1/- with postal cancellations, 1857-59 Director's Message, Capt. Huish control number "994", fine unused without gum (only about 20 examples recorded) plus a group of envelopes with different designs, one forwarded with postage due handstamp, and telegrams; some English and Irish Magnetic Telegraph; South Eastern Railway 9d. used (poor); British and Irish Magnetic Telegraph with issued stamps, remainders and stationery; London District Telegraph 1862, 3d., 4d. and 6d. unused; Universal including 1/- corner block of twenty; Bonelli's including 6d. black imperforate proof; General Telegraph 1864 6d. black from the original printing (scratch through "o" of "Co") with some gum (short tear at right), a scarce stamp with very few examples recorded (ex Conrad Graham) plus some other related items. Condition is typically mixed but a very good collection ideal for further development. Photo
