Many better cancellations including town datestamps "great-malvern", "torrington", "ilchester", "ilminster" in blue, "caton" in blue, "bridport" (2), "exeter", "st neots"; various with Maltese Crosses including superb strike on envelope from Killala to Ballina with "Killala/Penny Post" handstamp on face and "r h lacken" mileage mark on reverse flap, envelope with two Maltese Crosses, 1846 envelope with number '6' in Maltese Cross, distinctive Coventry, Brighton, Preston (blue) crosses, numeral cancellations including '30' in blue, rare Pearson Hill experimental machine cancellation 28.11.57, "charing cross" 16.11.86 Hoster code "a x" datestamp; better duplexes; also 1857 envelope from London to Carlisle cancelled only by Caledonian Railway "c.r." handstamp, 1841 envelope to Hemel Hempstead cancelled only by two strikes of inspectors crown, "office of the philatelic quarter" advertising collar and 1899 envelope from Amesbury to Ilford with superb ink and watercolour hand illustration
