1d. red-brown, ED, tied by "aucharnie" (Type V) handstamp in black to 1858 (13 April) envelope with enclosure to "Old Aberdeen", the reverse with Huntly and Aberdeen d.s. in black and green respectively; adhesive with small tear and small faults to envelope, nevertheless exceptionally rare, this being the sole recorded example of this Scotts local handstamp.
