Plate 92: RI-RJ partly severed horizontal pair, unusually well centred and tied by two Bristol Spoon cancellations of 16 May 1854 to envelope addressed to Tewkesbury, dated markings on reverse; fine. An exceptionally rare multiple from the rarest of the Plates used by Archer which are catalogued by Stanley Gibbons. A remarkable new discovery.
