Plate 39, HI, clear margins, tied by London "8" in Maltese Cross to 1844 1d. postal stationery envelope from Margate to Middlesex cancelled by '506' numeral on 1844 (2 May), a day after the introduction of the numeral cancel with "Birchington / Penny Post" handstamp; the envelope has been refolded inside-out and addressed to Margate with straight line "Parsons Green" handstamp; both sides with transit and receiving d.s.
