OL in a deep shade, good to large margins and tied on a neat wrapper to Edinburgh by a good strike of brown Maltese Cross with a fair strike of boxed "slateford/p.p.o." alongside, struck in the same colour, the reverse bearing Edinburgh arrival c.d.s. dated 1841 (20 Jan.). A very good example of this scarce Cross. S.G. A1vi, £9500. Photo
