1857-1946, selection of twenty-two items with Instructional markings, including 1903 envelope from London to Leeds, franked 1d. and with "not for sunday's delivery" handstamp alongside, 1915 envelope franked 1d. with Returned Letter Section label on the reverse, 1917 envelope franked 1d. addressed to the Foreign Office (Teheran Bag) with boxed "Postal Censor" handstamp, 1938 cover to New Zealand with framed violet "Posted at Antwerp under cover of the Head Post Office, King Edward St., London, E.C.1" handstamp, 1939 (Aug.) envelope with enclosure to Germany, Censored and with violet boxed no service/return to sender and returned Postal Packet envelope, 1940 Swiss 10c. postal stationery card with boxed detained in france/during german/occupation cachet, 1954 Comet Crash cover from Burma to Scotland, etc., chiefly good to fine
