1839 (1 Aug.) entire from Rio de Janeiro to London, rated "8" (ship letter rate up to ½oz.), struck in error with the boxed "india letter/margate" in red (In. 3), then subsequently overstruck with the correct "margate/ship-lre" in black (S. 4); the reverse with London 15.12 receiving d.s. Usual filing folds otherwise fine and fresh, illustrated in Robertson Vol. II (Page E.211).
