1704 (9 March) entire letter from Lismore to Edward Southwell "Secretary to the Government at the Castle in Dublin", struck with "mr/9" Bishop mark on face and, on the reverse, straight line "clonmell" in black, opening well for display. Some light paper restoration otherwise fine and a scarce mark, accompanied by copy of letter suggesting this may be a large "c". Photo
