1897 (2 Mar.) envelope to Germany "Per R.M.S. 'Moor', Registered" bearing 1891-1904 6d. strip of three tied by "896" barred oval with "macloutsi" c.d.s. (Proud D2) alongside plus German incoming registration label, the reverse bearing Mafeking (7.3) squared circle and Schwelm (28.3) arrival c.d.s. along with a fine red wax seal with "H" in barred diamond; some light soiling. The wax seal is similar in appearance to the obliterators issued to the early British South Africa Company postal agents, in this case, to Tuli (about 80 miles away) and here applied after their use was discontinued
