1888 (20 Oct.) an envelope to Leicester bearing 1888 2d. on 2d. horizontal strip of three tied by good strikes of "675" barred oval and showing a slightly smudged strike of "dry harts/bechuanaland" at foot, the reverse bearing Kimberley (21.10), Cape Town (24.10), Birmingham (12.11) and Leicester (13.11) c.d.s.; some minor soiling does not detract from this important cover.
