1890 (3 Jan.) envelope addressed to "Emil Tamsen, Tweefontein, Waterberg, S.A.R." in his handwriting, bearing 4d. on ½d. vermilion bisected diagonally and tied by neat Vryburg Bechuanaland c.d.s. without year date, a second strike (9.1) in the lower corner, also without year date, the reverse bearing Kimberley (11.1) and G.P.O. Transvaal (15.1). Fine and pays the correct 2d. rate, but philatelically inspired. Probably the only recorded example of this variety. B.P.A. Certificate (2014). Photo
