(2) and 2/6d. with 1898 6d. on 6d. tied by "555" barred oval with Vryburg c.d.s. with only "9" for the year, with London registered oval (13.5) applied in transit, the reverse with Cape Town registered oval (22.4) and Dusseldorf arrival (13.5). Vertical crease and some light soiling, pays six times the 7½d. rate. An early date for this registered envelope. Photo
