Letter addressed to Captain Chalres Hawtayne of H.M.S. Quebec, discussing the Flag of Truce and the release of a vessel, signed by Pellew, dated 8 July 1810, margin tear, edge wear, ageing, text clear and legible;
Letter to the Admiralty Office in London requesting more guns and cannons, signed by Pellew, dated 19 September 1810, some edge tears and wear, does not interfere with text;
Order for Captain Robert Mitford of H.M.S. Espoir to put himself under Pellew’s command, signed aboard H.M.S. Caledonia by Pellew at Spithead, dated 4 June 1811, light folds and some ageing, otherwise in good condition for age;
Order for Captain Downe of H.M.S. Redwing to receive passengers for passage to Palermo, signed aboard H.M.S. Caledonia by Pellew at Port Mahon, dated 8 November 1811, a minor edge tear and light ageing, text clear and legible;
Order for one of His Majesty’s Ships at Algiers to take under their protection the Perseverance and provide convoy to Gibraltar, signed aboard H.M.S. Caledonia by Pellew at Port Mahon, dated 9 May 1812, minor pinhole along central fold, otherwise clear and legible in good condition (5)
