(x) A Royal Navy Midshipman's Dirk, of early 19th Century manufacture, featuring a straight blade with traces of decoration and blueing, gilded brass and leather scabbard, dual rings for wear, grip of bone or ivorine, by Goldneys, late Neild, St. James's Street, Sword Cutler to His Royal Highness, Prince of Wales, blade bright and clean with a few traces of old rust pitting at tip, scabbard in good solid condition, total length 528mm, a very attractive and quality example of type, generally good very fine
