Roman Empire, Hadrian (AD 117-138), AR Denarius, 'Travel Series' Issue, Rome, struck c. 130-133, HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, laureate head right, rev. AEGYPTOS, Egypt reclining left, holding sistrum and resting arm upon basket, ibis standing right to left, 2.88g (RIC 1481; BMC 801), toned, struck from good silver with a slight spread of corrosion to the obverse, reverse well preserved if slightly soft, overall near very fine example of this very popular type
