COS VIII, Mars standing left, holding spear and trophy, 2.90g (RIC 937; BMC 200), deposits to reverse, good fine or thereabouts; ii) Roman Empire, Vespasian (AD 69-79), AR Denarius, T CAESAR IMP VESPASIANVS, laureate head of Titus right, rev. COS VI, Mars standing left, as before, 2.96g (RIC 948; BMC 221), nice portrait, good fine; iii) another, as before, 2.94g, fine; iv) another, struck 77/8, CAESAR AVG F DOMITIANVS, laureate head of Domitian right, rev. COS V, she-wolf suckling twins Romulus and Remus, boat below, 2.78g (RIC 961; BMC 240), softened but fine; v) another, CAESAR VESPASIANVS, laureate head right, rev. ANNONA AVG, Annona seated left, holding sack of grain, 2.59g (RIC 964; BMC 295), deposits throughout, softened, good to fine; (5).
