REGNO ., garnished oval shield, 4h, 6.13g, m.m bell (Brooker 487; North 2225; Spink 2791), irregular to the flan edges and some softness to the portrait, the legends boldly struck yet doubled in parts, very fine; Briot's First Milled Coinage, Penny, crowned bust left, with falling lace collar, B below, rev. square-topped shield over long cross fourchée (North 2303; Spink 2857), the obverse struck slightly off-centre, with a pleasing tone, very fine (2)
