Evan Arthur Jones suffered a gunshot wound to the scalp, for which he was admitted to Hospital on 19 February 1915. Jones was later discharged on 21 February 1918, and is further entitled to a 1914-15 Star, Victory Medal, as well as Silver War Badge number 352950.
