Thomas Hussey of the Madras Horse Artillery was awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct Medal in General Order Commander in Chief India dated 23 August 1855 with a £15 gratuity on discharge.

This medal awarded to European NCOs and other ranks of the Indian Army on discharge after 21 years meritorious service.
