Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. (221660 Henry Bowden, A.B. H.M.S. Mischief.), very fine

Henry Bowden was born at Minehead, Somerset and entered the Royal Navy in January 1907. He had continuous service during the First World War serving at Jutland in H.M.S. Mischief. Discharged to shore on 12 January 1926 he was in receipt of a war gratuity; sold together with a copy of his service record.
