Peter O'Reilly was born in May 1893 at Gorton, Manchester and enlisted on 7 December 1915. He served overseas with the 2/7th Battalion and was wounded by a gunshot to the left shoulder on 8 October 1917, O'Reilly was returned home on 14 October 1917 and discharged on 22 October 1918. He died at Stockport in 1941.
