1914-15 Star (Pte H. J. Deboylette 3rd M.R.); British War Medal (A.B. M. J. De Boylette. R.N.V.R.); South African Victory Medal (Pte H. J. Boylette. 8th S.A.H.), good very fine (3)
Henry James De Boylett embarked at Durban on Armadale Castle on 22 May 1916 and disembarked on 28 May 1916 at Kilindini, Kenya. He disembarked at Durban again on 15 November 1916, having sailed on Aragon, and was discharged at Durban on 28 January 1917. He served with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve between 12 November 1917 and 15 March 1919. Sold with copied records showing the 1914-15 Star being issued by the 3rd Mounted Rifles, British War Medal being issued by the R.N.V.R. and the Victory Medal being issued by the 8th Regiment of South African Horse.
