Thomas Bennett Goldie was born at West Derby, Liverpool on 12 April 1894. He joined the Territorial Army on 17 April 1912 initially serving in the West Lancs Field Ambulance before transferring to the Army Service Corps in 1915 arriving in France on 7 Nov 1915. Later transferred to the R.A.S.C. he was discharged 4 April 1919. In the 1939 census Goldie is listed as an ARP warden in Liverpool. Goldie died in July 1972.
