Charles John Walsh was born at Lambeth and enlisted in London. He was killed in action on 7 June 1917 whilst serving with the 23rd Battalion and is buried in the Voormezeele enclosure No. 3. He was the husband of Mrs. A. L. C. Rockhill (formerly Walsh), of 24 Alberta St., Penton Place, Walworth, London; sold together with a named metal identity disc.
He was the brother of T. J. Walsh, for his Medals please see Lot 251.
