General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Cyprus (23431679 Gdsm. R. Burrows. Gren. Gds.), good very fine

R. Burrows was born on 5 September 1938 and served in the 3rd Battalion of the Grenadier Guards, with whom he was posted in Cyprus. Burrows later died in Liverpool in January 2006 when he was about 68 years old. Sold together with copied research and original medal dispatch box as well as a contemporary hand-coloured photograph of Burrows and a photograph from February 1958 of Sergeant Mills' squad of Grenadier Guards which includes Burrows in the group.
