(x) British War Medal 1914-20 (210693 F-Sgt. A.J. Perry. R.A.F.), with M.I.D. oakleaves, very fine

Alec John Perry was born on 25 March 1891 at Camberwell, London. He was a carpenter when he enlisted in the Royal Naval Air Service on 15 January 1916 and served in France from 19 April 1916 to 5 May 1916 when he was posted back to England until the end of the war. His records show that he was Mentioned in Despatches on 20 August 1919, although this has not been confirmed in the London Gazette; sold together with copied research.
