Frederick George Ling was born at Bury St. Edmunds on 25 June 1890, he served in the Asiatic theatre from 15 November 1914 and is entitled to a 1914-15 Star Trio and the India General Service Medal. He was employed as a Civilian Cook with the Royal Air Force during the Second World War, he died in Belfast on 25 December 1955; sold with a photograph of him in uniform wearing medals.
