Archibald Vivian Wyatt was born on 20 December 1883 at Southsea, Hampshire. He joined the Royal Navy on 30 October 1908 as an E.R.A. 4th Class. At the outbreak of the Great War he was serving on Attentive before transferring to Arrogant on 1 October 1914 where he remains until 8 September 1915. Hyatt then joins Attentive II where he remains until sometime in 1917, the exact date is not clear on his service record. From there he goes to Victory II until 22 November 1917 before returning to Attentive II on 23 November 1917 until 26 August 1919. He joins Pembroke II on 27 August 1919 where he remains until 19 July 1923 before joining Titania on 20 July 1923 until 5 February 1926. During his time on Titania he received his Long Service medal.
Hyatt was finally Shore Pensioned on 29 October 1930.
