Percy Thomas Jones was born at Trench, Shropshire and enlisted at Market Drayton, Shropshire. He sees service overseas in France on 11 December 1915 and was killed in action on 21 September 1917 whilst serving with the 18th Battalion. Jones is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial and was the Uncle of John Brayne, of Willington Lane, Malpas, Cheshire.
