Price Jones enlisted with the Lancashire Fusiliers on 6 July 1915 and entered the war in France on 23 November 1915. He was admitted to No 3 Casualty Clearing Station in June 1916 with a gunshot wound and discharged due to wounds on 24 May 1917.
