Adam Wood was born on 9 March 1898 and enlisted on 30 July 1915. He served as part of the B.E.F. in France from 1 July 1917 and suffered a Gun Shot Wound to the right arm on 5 April 1918, he returned to the U.K. on 13 August 1919. Wood was discharged on 12 February 1920.
