Registered in England to acquire the old established Marine Hotel and adjoining land on St. Aubin's Bay. The promoters demolished the existing buildings, started building in 1891 and opened the new Hotel later in the year. The Hotel was used by German forces during WWII and was only opened a few years after liberation of the Islands. Recently refurbished, it is now a 123 room 5 star establishment. GVF and rare. First time seen by the cataloguer.
