(x) Great Britain: Northumberland Avenue Hotel Co. Ltd., £10 shares, various amounts paid, 18[83], #58, black. Built the luxurious 500 room Hotel Victoria in 1887 at a cost of £520,000, following the opening up of this fashionable street off Trafalgar Square. Closed in 1940 and used by the War Office. They bought the premises in 1951 and its now known as Northumberland House. The only piece known to us which we originally sold in 2009. VF and rare.
