(x) Great Britain: New Hydropathic Hotel, West Kirby, Limited, £50 debenture, 1899, 4 pages, black. The West Kirby Hydropathic Hotel Co. Ltd. was incorporated in 1882 and built the large Hydro which opened in 1885. The company acquired the building from the old company. Taken over by West Kirby Hydropathic Hotel Ltd., in 1906. The hotel was closed in 1967 and demolished in 1972 and replaced with town houses. Together with Bridlington Coffee House and Hotel Co. Ltd., £1 shares, [1900], mauve. Acquired property on Cliff and Prince Streets in Bridlington Quay to operate a temperance Hotel and coffee house. AEF and AVF (2).
