(x) Great Britain: Hotel Belgravia Limited, £100 second debenture, 1893, #38 of only 150 issued, black. Together with Ordinary shares, 19[34], #508, brown, and, Preference shares, 2 examples, 1925], #166 and 19[26], #386, blue. The first company, owning the Hotel Belgravia in Victoria Street S.W. London, was in liquidation by 1895 and the hotel was sold to another company, Belgravia Hotels Company Limited in 1897. This again was wound up in 1901. There is then a gap of some years until 1921 when the later company was formed, first as a private company and then in 1924 as a public company. Small tear on the second piece otherwise VF (4).
