(x) Great Britain: Bournemouth Imperial and Grand Hotels Limited, a specimen certificate for £1 ordinary shares from the Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. archives, 189- (printer's annotation for 1898), black on green paper, with counterfoil, perforated specimen etc over signature area. Formed to acquire the freehold of the Imperial Hotel and the leasehold of the Grand Hotel with options for the acquisition for both the Belle Vue and Pier Hotel and the Bransome Tower Hotels nearby. The hotels were sold and the company liquidated in 1960. EF.
