Spain: Alcoy and Gandia Railway and Harbour Co. Ltd., 5% debenture for £100, 18[90], #2407, very large piece with harbour view, ornate border, black, pink underprint, stamped endorsements, with coupons, together with a second debenture stock certificate for £[16,116], 190[1972], #342, black. A metre gauge line running from Gandia, Valencia, inland to Alcoy. Taken over by the Government in 1936, closed in 1969. The latter certificate is a very late use of a 1900 printing at the time when the company was being wound up. AVF and VF.
